A deck often looks worse than it actually is. When the structure is sound, refreshing the surface and the parts people touch can make it feel like a different deck.
If the framing is in good shape, we can replace worn or damaged boards, or resurface the deck. That’s a very different project from tearing out and rebuilding, and usually a very different price.
Loose railings and worn stairs affect both the appearance and use of a deck. Depending on the condition of the surrounding structure, we can replace railings or rebuild stairs as part of a targeted upgrade.
Rot rarely announces itself. We look at where the damage starts and how far it goes, then repair the affected areas. If it points to a deeper problem, you’ll hear that from us plainly.
